Inkjet printers
- Check ink levels from the printer's display or software.
- Run the print-head cleaning tool from the printer's maintenance or tools menu. One or two cycles is usually enough — repeated cleaning uses a lot of ink.
- Print a nozzle check or quality report page to see which colors are affected.
- Run print-head alignment if lines look jagged or doubled.
Laser printers
- Remove the toner cartridge and gently rock it side to side to redistribute toner, then reinstall it.
- Print a cleaning page if your printer offers one.
Blank pages
- Make sure any protective tape was removed from new cartridges.
- Confirm the document isn't blank and that you're printing to the right printer.
Persistent streaks after cleaning may mean a cartridge or hardware issue — we can help you narrow it down.
